Daugherty also faces charges in Kentucky after leading Kentucky State Police officers on a high-speed chase a few weeks ago, the news release said.

Daugherty has lived in Covington, but he was arrested in Laurel County. Police found him at a home on Level Green Road in Keavy, the news release said.

He was being held in the Laurel County jail pending extradition to Florida.
