Churchill Downs Inc. has applied for a license to provide online interactive gambling services, including poker with the Nevada Gaming Control Board, according to published reports.
If Churchill receives a license, the company could legally allow real money to be wagered on Internet poker as long as the gambling takes place in Nevada.
Earlier this year, Churchill bought Bluff Media, which operates a poker magazine and an online counterpart but doesn't conduct any games at this time.
