The Lexington Legends rallied from a 5-0 deficit and went on to defeat the visiting Hagerstown Suns 10-7 Tuesday night. Nolan Fontana, Mike Kvasnicka and Ryan McCurdy each had two runs batted in.

The Legends started to chip into their early five-run deficit with one run in the third as Jordan Scott scored on a wild pitch.

The Legends cut the lead to one with three runs in the fourth. Matt Duffy and Brandon Meredith both scored on Kvasnicka's double. Justin Gominsky's groundout advanced Kvasnicka to third, and he scored on McCurdy's grounder.

The Suns surged ahead again with a two-run homer in the sixth, but the Legends rallied to take the lead. A McCurdy double scored Gominsky. McCurdy, Scott Sosa and Fontana also made it home, giving the Legends the lead.

Lexington scored an insurance run in the eighth inning when a strike-three pitch got away from catcher Jeremy Mayo for a passed ball. Zach Johnson moved to second on Duffy's single and scored on a single by Meredith.

Tommy Shirley (2-1) entered the game in the sixth inning and got the win, allowing two runs over 22⁄3 innings. Dayan Diaz picked up his 14th save by recording the final four outs.
