Anthony Davis (University of Kentucky) — Men's basketball: Played three minutes and had three rebounds in the USA's 119-86 quarterfinal victory over Australia.

Richard Lambourne (Louisville native) — Men's volleyball: USA lost to Italy 3-0.

Rondel Sorrillo (University of Kentucky) — Track and field: Men's 200 meters for Trinidad. Did not qualify.
