Athletes with ties to Kentucky who are competing in Olympic events on Sunday (All times EDT):

Anthony Davis (University of Kentucky) Men's basketball: USA vs. Spain in gold medal game at 10 a.m.

SATURDAY'S RESULTS

How Kentucky athletes fared:

Tyson Gay (Lafayette High School) — Track and field: Men's 4-by-100 relay for USA. Gay won his first Olympic medal when the Americans finished second to Usain Bolt and Jamaica.

Angel McCoughtry (University of Louisville) — Women's basketball: She scored seven points in Team USA's victory against France in the gold medal game.

Gavin Smellie (Western Kentucky University) — Track and field: Men's 4-by-100 relay for Canada. Smellie and his teammates finished third but were disqualified after officials determined that one of his teammates, Jared Connaughton, stepped on the line.
