Kentucky Speedway in Sparta is seeking 15 race enthusiasts to found a fan council.

Selected members will work directly with the speedway management team to brainstorm, discuss, debate and focus on ideas that will enhance the speedway guest experience. Discussions will be conducted throughout the year by either conference call, email, survey or meetings at the racetrack.

Council members must be at least 18 years old and will be asked to commit to a one-year term.

The deadline to apply is Sept. 14, and selections will be made by Sept. 21.
