    Aug. 19 — Western Little League at Cardinal Run Baseball Complex. 4-12 year-olds (as of April 30, 2013). Fees vary according to division ($50-$90). Practices begin Aug. 27. Games begin Sept. 10. Janet Jones (859) 227-1416. to register.


    Sept. 1-3 — Labor Day Bash in Nicholasville. T-ball, coach-pitch, 9-12 year-olds, 13-18 year-olds. $175 for 4-game guarantee.
