A 2-year-old girl died Sunday from injuries she suffered in an in an all-terrain vehicle wreck earlier that day in Letcher County, a coroner said.

Letcher County Coroner Marty Baker declined Tuesday to identify the child, who he said was a passenger on the ATV. She died at a hospital in a Kingsport, Tenn.

Baker said Kentucky State Police were investigating. Officials at the Hazard state police post did not immediately have information Tuesday.
