BEREA: A 30-year-old Berea man was killed after he lost control of his truck on Pilot Knob Cemetery Road in Madison County on Saturday.

Madison County Sheriff's Department officials say Zachary Croley of Berea was driving a Chevrolet Silverado truck toward Berea when it ran off the roadway shortly after 7:30 p.m. Saturday. Croley over-corrected and drove the truck into an embankment on the opposite of the road. The truck flipped over and Croley was partially ejected from the vehicle. Croley was not wearing a seat belt and was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger in his vehicle, Elizabeth Cook, 36, also of Berea, was taken to St. Joseph Hospital in Berea for minor injuries.
