Man charged with murder in Winchester killing

The Clark County Coroner's office on Tuesday identified the victim of a homicide on Winn Avenue in Winchester.

Joseph N. Jones, 54, died from trauma caused by an assault Monday night, Clark County Coroner Robert Gayheart said.

Andrew Williamson, 46, was charged with murder and tampering with physical evidence in the case, Clark County Detention Center Capt. Timothy Banks said.

Williamson was charged early Tuesday. Officials have said Jones was found dead about 11:30 p.m. Monday.
