The Celebrity Chef Tour is hosting its first James Beard dining event in Kentucky on Saturday at Cane Ridge Cattle Co. in Bourbon County.
The Celebrity Chef Tour Dinner Series, benefitting the James Beard Foundation, is bringing this dining experience to Kentucky for the first time.
The Cane Ridge Cattle Co. will host four award-winning chefs: Bernard Guillas of Marine Room in La Jolla, Calif.; Aaron Butts of Joseph Decuis in Roanoke, Ind.; Jeremy Ashby of Azur Restaurant in Lexington; and Jeff Newman of Boone Tavern in Berea. Together, they will create a menu complete with wine pairings and Belgian beer and featuring the famous Cane Ridge Waygu and Angus beef and other locally sourced products.
The evening will begin with passed hors d'oeuvres and champagne, followed by a five-course culinary experience. After dinner, guests will have the opportunity to meet the chefs, ask questions and get a behind-the-scenes glimpse at the culinary world.
A Kentucky-style lawn reception will begin at 6 p.m. followed by dinner seating at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $140 per person and can be purchased at Caneridgecattle.com.
