Woodford County: Antique quilt show starts Friday

A Stitch in Time Antique Quilt Exhibit will be at the Jack Jouett House Friday to Sunday. The exhibit will feature antique quilts from the early 1800s through the early 1900s.

The weekend begins with a Friday evening lecture on antique quilt conservation and a guided exhibit tour by the show's curator, Annie-Beth Gross. Tickets for this event are $10 and space is limited.

The Saturday quilt exhibit showings are on the hour beginning at 10 a.m., with the last showing at 4 p.m. Sunday's showings are on the hour beginning at 1 p.m. with the last showing at 4 p.m. The cost for this exhibit is $5.

Free children's quilting classes will be at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Saturday.
