Transy Spanish Professor Lisa Contreras took a photo of student Skyler Slone with "Jonas" the goat in one of the parking spots as Transylvania University transformed several parking spots into "parks" as part of National PARK(ing) Day, held in the Haupt Circle parking lot on the Transylvania University campus in Lexington, Ky., Friday, September 21, 2012. The national movement, which began in 2005, challenges people to re-think their use of urban spaces and to question the use of public urban lots and empower citizens to redefine public space to suit community needs. The goat is owned by Transy dean of students Barbara Lomonaco who brought the goat to be part of their "environmental" theme. Photo by Charles Bertram | Staff HERALD-LEADER Buy Photo
