The third annual Sprint Cup race at Kentucky Speedway will take place on June 29, according to the 2013 NASCAR schedule released on Tuesday.

The Sparta race falls in the same spot on the NASCAR schedule as it did last year, when Brad Keselowski won the Quaker State 400.

The Kentucky event comes between races at Sonoma and Daytona and again will be contested on a Saturday. The starting time for the race has not yet been announced.

The 36-race 2013 season begins with the Daytona 500 on Feb. 24 and ends Nov. 17 at Homestead, Fla. The 10-race Chase for the Sprint Cup begins Sept. 15 in Chicago.
