A 16-year-old boy has died after he was shot in the head at an apartment complex on Winburn Drive in Lexington.

Jaleel Raglin was found by police in a unit at Matador North Apartments, 1053 Winburn Drive, about 8:38 p.m., according to the coroner's office and police. Despite the officer's CPR and emergency medical technicians' efforts to resuscitate him, Jaleel died at University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital at 9:09 p.m., the coroner's office said.

Jaleel was shot in the head.

Police were looking for a man who was seen with the victim earlier in the day "who probably has some knowledge about the incident," said police Lt. Chris Young.

The man appeared to be in his late teens or early 20s and was between 5 and 6 feet tall. He was wearing a black and white checkered shirt, jeans and a dark had with a teal bill. His hair was styled in dreadlocks with red beads on the tips.
