A political forum sponsored by the Midway Women's Club will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Northside Elementary School gymnasium in Midway.

Congressional candidate Andy Barr will attend the forum and U.S. Rep. Ben Chandler (D-Versailles) has been invited.

State Rep. Carl Rollins (D-Midway) and opponent Doug Jones will attend, and Democratic state Sen. Julian Carroll (D-Frankfort) and opponent Frank Haynes have been invited.

The 10 candidates for the six Midway City Council seats have also been invited to speak.

During the forum, each candidate will have three minutes to address the audience. Following each group of candidates, screened questions from the audience will be asked by moderator Steve Wilson.
