A Frankfort man was arrested Tuesday for possession of child pornography after investigators found roughly 3,000 suspected child pornographic images and videos at his home, Attorney General Jack Conway announced Wednesday.
Investigators from Conway's Cybercrimes Unit arrested Edward L. Lewis, 45, on four counts of possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor, a Class D felony, according to a news release.
Lewis was being held in the Franklin County Regional Jail in lieu of $40,000 bond.
Officials from Conway's office started an undercover investigation of Lewis in June. Lewis is scheduled to be arraigned tomorrow in Franklin District Court at 11:15 a.m.
