Five award scores at Lexington bowling leagues include three perfect games

There were five award scores in local bowling leagues this past week. Cameron Ewert and Bill Pianovski both rolled 800 series and Mike Fairchild, Chris Sweet and Darrel Hunt all had perfect games.

Ewert led the scoring with an 804 (269-257-278) on Oct. 9 in the Beltline League at Collins Bowling Centers-Southland. Pianovski rolled an 801 (268-268-265) at Collins Bowling Centers-Eastland on Oct. 5 in the Friday Night Fun League.

Fairchild, a Lexington Bowling Hall of Famer, rolled his 32nd career 300 on Oct. 4 in the Strike Force league at Southland. The other 300s were rolled by Hunt in the Wafford League on Oct. 8 and Sweet in the Friday Night Fun League on Oct. 5.

■ The Lexington USBC Hall of Fame will be held on Saturday, Nov. 10, at noon at the Ramada Inn on North Broadway. Tickets are $20 each and are available from any Lexington USBC officer or director. This year's inductees are Nancy Hohensee, Kenny Stephens and Julie Whitaker.
