Lexington traffic report, week of Oct. 15

SPECIAL NOTES

Traffic could be congested downtown near Fifth-Third Pavilion at Cheapside Park from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday for Central Bank Thursday Night Live.

Traffic near Commonwealth Stadium is expected to be congested Saturday for the University of Kentucky- University of Georgia football game. The game starts at 7 p.m. Traffic on Cooper Drive will be one way going toward the stadium before the game and one way on Waller Avenue going away from the stadium after the game. Motorists should use caution.

SIGNIFICANT TRAFFIC IMPACT

The westbound inner lane of Man o' War Boulevard will be blocked at Richmond Road for a short time Monday for catch basin work.

The inbound lane of Old Paris Road will be blocked between Laclede Avenue and Northwood Drive through Wednesday for sewer work.

One approach lane of Leestown Road will be blocked a South Forbes Road through Thursday to install new traffic signals.

The outbound right lane of Richmond Road will be blocked between Patchen Drive and Mount Tabor Road through Friday for utility work.

The inbound right lane of South Broadway will be blocked between Pine Street and West High Street through Friday to replace the sidewalk.

There will be a rolling closure of the right lane of inbound or outbound Tates Creek Road between Dove Run Road and Turkey Foot Road through Friday to relocate street lights for an upcoming sidewalk project.

The outbound right lane of Richmond Road will be blocked between Shriners Lane and Fontaine Road through Saturday and on Oct. 27 to remove brush along the right of way.

One lane at a time of Buchanan Street will be closed as needed between West Main Street and the end of the street through Oct.31, to replace utility poles.

The outbound right lane of West Main Street will be blocked between Newtown Pike and Buchanan Street through Oct. 31, to replace utility poles.

MODERATE TRAFFIC IMPACT

One lane of Sutton Place will be blocked at Mandalay Road from Tuesday through Friday to make sinkhole repairs.

The right westbound lane of West Fourth Street will be blocked at North Limestone Street from Tuesday through Friday for utility work.

The Euclid Avenue approach to Tates Creek Road will be blocked through Thursday for manhole work in the median.

One lane at a time of Breckenridge Street will be blocked as needed at Shropshire Avenue through Friday for utility work.

One lane of Louisiana Avenue will be blocked between Romany Road and Colony Boulevard on Tuesday and Wednesday for tree removal.

The southbound lane of Perry Street will be blocked between Manchester Street and Edmond Street from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Oct. 31 for utility work.

The right lane of Maxwell Street and the left turn lane of Broadway will be blocked between Dunaway Street and South Broadway from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. Oct. 25 for utility work.
