There will be a Dry Stone Conservancy Workshop on Friday and Saturday at Providence Missionary Baptist Church (formerly known as the Old Stone Church), 799 Old Stone Church Road, Winchester. Participants will learn the fundamentals of how to build a freestanding dry stone fence.

Church handling supplies to be sent to needy kids
First Baptist Church, 37 North Highland Street in Winchester, has been named a relay center for Operation Christmas Child.
Churches in Clark and surrounding counties can bring non-perishable small gifts, school supplies, hygiene supplies, socks, etc., to fill shoe boxes that will be sent to needy children all over the world.
