Legends announce 2013 schedule

October 26, 2012

The Lexington Legends on Friday announced their 2013 schedule, their first as an affiliate of the Kansas City Royals.

Lexington's minor-league baseball team will take the field with a new look — colors, uniforms and logo, and a new roster of players — but its schedule has a familiar feel.

The Legends, formerly affiliated with the Houston Astros, remain in the Class A South Atlantic League.

The team opens its season with a four-game road trip to Augusta, Ga., from April 4-7.

Lexington plays its home opener against Asheville on April 8 at 7:05 p.m. That game opens a seven-game home stand that includes four games against Greenville.
