Final furlong

■ Nicholasville-based Ken and Sarah Ramsey wrapped up their 11th overall Keeneland meet title, winning 12 races during the Fall Meet to run off with the leading owner title. The Ramseys' 12 wins tied the record held by Mr. and Mrs. Robert F. Roberts (Fall 1968) and Calumet Farm (Spring 1941) for number of wins by an owner during a Keeneland meet.

■ Jockey Julien Leparoux also continued his dominant ways at Keeneland, winning his ninth overall riding title at the track with 26 wins, 12 more than runner-up Corey Lanerie. Leparoux also became the fifth jockey to notch 300 wins at Keeneland, achieving the feat on Oct. 24.

■ Trainer Wesley Ward prevailed in the meet's tightest race, edging out Mike Maker for the leading trainer title by a 12-10 margin. Ward came into the final day of the meet one behind Maker in the standings but won three races Saturday to complete a sweep of the Spring and Fall meet titles this year.
