Lincoln couple indicted on multiple charges of child sex abuse

A Lincoln County couple was indicted in connection with several child sexual-abuse assaults, Kentucky State Police said Wednesday.

Timothy Robinson, 34, of Kings Mountain was charged Tuesday with four counts of incest, four counts of unlawful transaction with a minor, and one count of use of a minor in a sex performance, police said in a news release.

Rhonda J Robinson, 47, of Kings Mountain was charged with four counts of complicity to incest, four counts of complicity to unlawful transaction with a minor, and one count of complicity to use of a minor in a sex performance.

All the charges involve the abuse of a 14-year-old girl for at least two years, said Trooper Paul Blanton, public affairs officer for the Richmond post.

Both suspects were in the Lincoln County jail during the course of the investigation, state police said.
