Busy I-75, New Circle Road exits closed Thursday for repairs

If you'll be traveling Interstate 75 or New Circle Road on the north side of Lexington on Thursday, repair work could alter your plans.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet said guardrail repairs will require the closing of exit 113 (the Paris Pike/Broadway exit) on I-75 and exit 5B (the westbound Versailles Road exit) on New Circle Road, from about 9 a.m. to about 3 p.m. Thursday.

Drivers on I-75 can use Exit 115 as an alternative.

Signs will be in place to guide motorists, highway officials said. They also urged drivers to use caution.
