A LaRue County man is facing a murder charge after a fatal shooting Friday outside a bar at Raywick in Marion County.

Kentucky State Police said they arrested Christopher Gribbins, 46, at 12:07 a.m. Saturday at his home on Dangerfield Road in LaRue County.

Gribbins and another man also are charged with second-degree assault in connection with a separate attack at the same bar Friday night, according to state police.

Troopers at the Columbia state police post said they were dispatched to the Raywick Bar and Grill about 1:30 a.m. Friday after receiving a call about a shooting outside the bar.

David Litsey, 22, of Lebanon, who was wounded, was rushed to the Springview Hospital in Lebanon, where he later died, police said.

Gribbins was arrested after an investigation, troopers said.

Police said Gribbins and Michael Gibson, 48, of Raywick also are charged with second-degree assault in an attack on Phillip J. Franklin, 22, of Springfield, outside the Raywick bar before the shooting. Gibson, who was arrested Friday night, also is charged with terroristic threatening in the assault on Franklin.

Gribbins and Gibson are being held in the Marion County jail.
