Liberty Elementary uses patriotic plates to honor veterans

Liberty Elementary School in Lexington honored veterans Monday with a special program that included rhythmic paper plate movement to American Salute, music based on the song When Johnny Comes Marching Home Again. Students created patriotic designs on paper plates in art class. Students with veterans in their families sat on stage during the program. Photos by Pablo Alcala | Staff
