Man found in abandoned Lexington house died of natural causes, coroner says

A man whose body was found early Wednesday in an abandoned house on Georgetown Street died of natural causes, according to a release from the Fayette County coroner's office.

The man was identified as Paul W. Coffman, 58.

A television report suggested that Coffman might have died from the cold, from a condition called hypothermia. But the coroner's release said that a preliminary autopsy report showed hypothermia did not appear to be a contributing cause..
