November 22, 2012

John Richardson, 27, and Andrea Richardson, 25, both of Lexington, took first place overall in the 29th annual Thoroughbred Classic 5K at Keeneland Thursday morning.

John Richardson finished in 16:19; Andrea Richardson in 18:28. This year, 2,172 people finished the Thanksgiving race, race director Dave Kjelby said. The charity raised funds for four non-profits: God's Pantry food bank, the Hope Center, the Lexington Humane Society and Kentucky Radio Eye.
