Morehead woman dies at UK Hospital after Thanksgiving crash

A 33-year-old Morehead woman was killed in a crash Thursday morning in Rowan County, according to the Kentucky State Police.

Wendy S. Williams died at the University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital in Lexington where she was flown after the 9:25 am. crash on Ky. 32, police said.

Dustin J. Rayburn, 21, of Morehead was driving east in a 2000 Chevrolet pickup when he crossed the center line hitting Williams, who was driving a 2000 Jeep Cherokee, according to police. The jeep overturned.

Rayburn was flown to St. Mary's Medical Center in Huntington, W.Va. where he was in stable condition.
