Temporary lane closings will affect traffic on interstates 75 and 64 in the Lexington area on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, Kentucky highway officials say.

One southbound lane of I-75 will be closed until 3 p.m. Tuesday near the Clays Ferry bridge in Madison County, officials said in a news release.

From about 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, one eastbound lane of I-64 will be closed at milepoint 62 in Woodford County. The closing will be near the Midway-Versailles exit.

From about 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, one eastbound land of I-64 at milepoint 73 in Fayette County will be closed. That closing will be west of the intersection of I-75 and I-64.

The exact times of the closings will be subject to weather and other factors, the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet said. Signs will be in place to guide motorists, who are asked to reduce speed and pass carefully in the work zones.

All three closings are associated with highway surface work and testing.
