3 indicted on charges they poured boiling water on Danville man

Three people are accused of severely burning a Danville man by pouring boiling water on him, according to a Boyle County indictment.

Damarintae Fischer, 23, Latoria Fischer, 38, and Tiffany Jackson, 26, all of Danville, each face charges of kidnapping, first-degree assault and first-degree robbery, according to the indictment returned Tuesday.

They are charged with holding M'Dre Whitehead against his will on Oct. 10 and pouring scalding water on him.

Whitehead, 20, suffered severe burns to his face and torso. He was treated at University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital in Lexington.

All three defendants were being held in the Boyle County jail.
