Police are looking for two inmates who walked away from the Blackburn Correctional Complex in Fayette County on Saturday.
According to the Kentucky Department of Corrections, Christopher Melton and Tyler Roberts were confirmed missing around 8 p.m. Saturday. Melton, 23, is a 6-foot-1-inch white male with brown hair and blue eyes weighing 160 pounds. He was serving a six-year sentence for theft and fleeing and evading. He would have been eligible for parole in April 2013.
Roberts, 21, is a 5-foot-9-inch white male with black hair and brown eyes weighing 150 pounds. He was serving a 10-year sentence for burglary, theft, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon and arson.
He would have been eligible for parole October 2013.
