Kentucky Utilities officials are trying to determine what caused a power outage for about 1,800 customers and complicated travel for others early Tuesday night.
The affected area extended along Nicholasville Road from just south of Fayette Mall to Tiverton Way, KU spokesman Cliff Feltham said. Some intersections were affected.
He said the outage lasted from 4:30 p.m. until just before 6 p.m.
