One person died Tuesday following a Laurel County two-vehicle crash in which a second person was critically injured, according to Sheriff John Root.
Albert Stillings, 74, of London appears to have lost control of his 2005 Jeep Liberty in a curve and crossed into the opposite lane, Root said in a news release.
The road was wet, Root said.
Stillings' vehicle hit a 2002 Chrysler 300 driven by Bobby Evans, 49, of Corbin, Root said.
Stillings was flown to the University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital but died at 2:27 p.m., according to Root. Evans also was flown to UK with critical injuries.
The wreck happened at 9:09 a.m. on Ky. 192, three miles west of London.
