A Lee County woman died at University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital after a crash near Beattyville.

Geraldine Durbin, 64, of Beattyville died in the emergency room at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, according to a Fayette County coroner's report released Wednesday night.

Durbin was traveling south on Ky. 11 in Lee County about 9:45 p.m. Tuesday when she lost control and struck a tree, the coroner said. Durbin, who wasn't wearing a seat belt, had head injuries.
