A crash on Friday night killed Courtney Bryant, 22, of Frankfort, according to the Franklin County coroner's office.
The county's dispatch center was called at 10:26 p.m. about a single-vehicle crash on westbound Interstate 64 near Mile Marker 57. A red Toyota Yaris driven by Bryant hit the end of a guardrail, the Franklin County sheriff's office said in a press release. Bryant was pronounced dead at the scene.
Bryant was the only one in the vehicle. She was not wearing a seat belt. Speed does not appear to have been a factor in the crash; toxicology tests are pending, Franklin County Sheriff Pat Melton said.
