A Sadieville teen died Monday at University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital, the Fayette County coroner's office said.

Cynthia Neace, 18, was in the neurosurgical intensive care unit when she died at 11:51 a.m.

She was injured Saturday in car crash on U.S. 62 East about 10 miles east of Cynthiana in Harrison County. She was not wearing a seat belt when the car in which she was riding struck a tree and overturned. It came to rest on the passenger side of the vehicle.

Neace was taken to Harrison Memorial Hospital in Cynthiana before being transferred to UK.

Ware Funeral Home in Cynthiana is handling arrangements.
