FRANKFORT — A Lawrence County man faces charges of child pornography possession and distribution, the attorney general's office announced Tuesday.
Thomas Meade, 51, of Blaine, was indicted last week and was arrested Monday. He posted bond and was released from the Johnson County Regional Detention Center.
Meade was indicted Dec. 14 on four counts of possession of child pornography and one count of distribution of child pornography after an undercover investigation by Attorney General Jack Conway's office. The investigation started in January 2009, according to Conway's office, which will handle prosecution of the case for the Lawrence County commonwealth's attorney.
Meade's arraignment is scheduled for Jan. 2.
