Lexington police are trying to identify several people who were involved in a scuffle earlier this month at a Waffle House on Georgetown Road.
Police released surveillance photos of the men Wednesday. Detectives hope the public can help them identify the men so they can bring them in for questioning.
The assault happened about 2:55 a.m. Dec. 6 at the Waffle House at 1000 Georgetown Road. Police responded to a call about a disorder involving several people.
Witnesses told police that a man was eating with a friend before getting into a fight with five or six people. They assaulted him and ran before police arrived.
The victim, who was not named, had serious injuries from being punched and kicked. He was taken to the emergency room and later was listed in critical but stable condition.
Anyone with information is asked to call Lexington police at (859) 258-3600.
