A Louisville man died Friday from injuries sustained in a car crash in Franklin County on Wednesday night.
Rico D. Turner, 23, was driving on Interstate 64 near mile marker 50 when he lost control of his Pontiac and hit a tree, according to a news release from the Franklin County Sheriff's Office.
The wreck happened about 11:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Turner was taken to University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital in critical condition. He was pronounced dead about 12:20 p.m. Friday, according to a news release from the Fayette County Coroner's Office.
The death is being investigated as accidental. G.C. Williams Funeral Home in Louisville is handling arrangements.
