A married couple was found dead Sunday in the Kentucky River near the Ford community in southern Clark County. Carroll Dobbs, 65, and Henrietta Dobbs, 64, who lived in Ford, were driving in a pickup truck that ran off 4 Mile Road and fell 20 to 30 feet down a steep embankment into the river, according to the Clark County coroner's office. The truck went into the river either late Saturday or early Sunday. Police were called around noon Sunday by someone who spotted the vehicle in the water, Clark County Sheriff Berl Perdue Jr. said. The victims' bodies were found outside the truck. They died from injuries suffered in the crash, the coroner said.
