Kentucky State Police in Pikeville are investigating a wreck that killed one person and injured four others.
The crash occurred Wednesday on U.S. 23 south of Pikeville, troopers said.
According to a state police news release, Ronald Caudill was attempting to make a left turn onto U.S. 23 when his Ford Expedition pulled into the path of a Mercedes-Benz driven by Andrew Logan.
Logan, 66, was rushed to Pikeville Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead by Pike County Coroner Russell Roberts. Logan was not wearing a seat belt, state police said in the news release.
The state police said Caudill and three passengers in his vehicle were taken to Pikeville Medical Center.
