New Year's Day offers six bowl games: Gator (Noon, ESPN2), Heart of Dallas (Noon, ESPNU), Capital One (1 p.m., ABC-36), Outback (1 p.m., ESPN), Rose (5 p.m., ESPN) and Orange (8:30 p.m., ESPN)

Wednesday

Kentucky plays its final non-conference men's basketball game before embarking on its 18-game Southeastern Conference schedule. Eastern Michigan, which lost to top-10 teams Syracuse and Michigan by 36 and 39 points, respectively, offers the opposition. (6 p.m., ESPNU)

Wednesday

Louisville faces a tough assignment in the Big Easy. The Cardinals are a two-touchdown underdog to Florida in the Sugar Bowl, but a healthy Teddy Bridgewater figures to give U of L a fighting chance. (8:30 p.m., ESPN)
