More than 600 Central and Northern Kentuckians remained without power Monday afternoon after a weekend winter storm.
As of 3 p.m. Monday, Nicholasville-based Blue Grass Energy reported 645 customers without power on its website, bgenergy.com. Most affected customers were in Harrison County.
The electric utility hoped to have most customers restored by 8 p.m. Monday. More snow is expected to roll into the region Monday night and persist into New Year's Day, Tuesday.
