Former University of Kentucky standout Trevard Lindley is back in the NFL.
The Philadelphia Eagles announced Wednesday they signed Lindley and defensive end Everette Brown to two-year contracts.
Lindley, a fourth-round draft choice by the Eagles in 2010, played 11 games as a rookie. He was released by the team before the 2011 season, though he was re-signed last off-season. Lindley initially earned his way onto the roster to begin this season, but was released when the team claimed an offensive lineman.
The Eagles, who fired coach Andy Reid on Monday, went 4-12 this season.
