Lori Brinegar, with the city's Parks and Recreation Dept., worked from a bucket lift as part of a crew taking down the Christmas tree in Triangle Park at the corner of West Main St. and South Broadway in Lexington, Ky., Thursday, January 3, 2013. It took them 2 weeks to decorate the tree back in November, and 2 days to take off the ornaments and the 80 strands of LED lights from the 45-foot blue spruce. The tree will be recycled into mulch.
