A Somerset man was killed early Sunday in a crash in Lincoln County, state police said in a news release.

Clarence Baugh, 27, was driving on Ky. 1781 about 12:20 a.m. when his car ran off the road and overturned several times before coming to rest in a creek, according to the release.

Baugh was not wearing a seat belt. He died at the scene.

State police said alcohol was thought to be a factor.
