■ After 40 years of ownership, Cravens Properties rental units located on Gazette, Transcript and Leader avenues have been sold to Medical View Properties. The apartments will now be known as Medical View Properties.

John's Run Walk Shop has opened a second location by the same name in the Palomar Shopping Center. The store opened Dec. 7 and is managed by Thomas Morgan. Hours: 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday-Friday; 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday; and 1-5 p.m. Sunday. Phone: (859) 219-3161.

■ Brothers Ken and John Wilson have opened East Of Chicago Pizza in the University Plaza on the Eastern Bypass in Richmond. The store offers pizza, subs and wings. Phone: (859) 623-5822.

■ A new DQ Grill and Chill has opened at 205 Locust Drive in Paris. The restaurant is operated by Steve Caudill and employs 45 people. Hours: 6 a.m.-10 p.m. daily. Phone: (859) 987-6666.
