Law firm to have job fair to hire 200 for Lexington services center

Boston-based law firm Bingham McCutchen, which is opening a shared-services center in Lexington, will have a job fair Wednesday. Bingham is looking to fill about 200 jobs in finance, human resources, information technology, knowledge services, marketing, operations and risk management.

The job fair will be at the Embassy Suites, 1801 Newtown Pike; there will be informational sessions 10 a.m. to noon; 2 to 5 p.m.; and at 6 p.m. According to documents prepared for the state government, the average wage, including benefits, will be $37 an hour. For more information, go to

Bingham will invest $22.5 million in a Global Services Center on the University of Kentucky's Coldstream Research Campus and has received approval from the state for more than $6.5 million in tax incentives.
