The driver in a Friday night crash near the Jessamine County line has continued to improve.

Jeremy Arvin was listed in fair condition at University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital on Monday night.

There's no word on the condition of his passenger, a woman who has not been publicly identified but who was said to have life-threatening injuries.

Alcohol is suspected as a factor in the high-speed crash, Lexington police have said.

Arvin and the woman were riding in a black Nissan 370Z on Delong Road near Tates Creek Road when the crash occurred at 10:23 p.m. Friday.
